The adventure of making a picture book continues (part two)
Kippy and I have been continuing our project, but it is getting time to figure out what size to make the pictures. Since I wanted to make several as gifts, I choose inexpensive little books from Barnes & Noble.
The sketch pads, at $3.99 each are about 6” ½ by 4 ¼”.
The little black moleskin books come 3 to a package for around $6.00 for the package. They are each 5 ½ “ by 3 ½”. The little notebook with brown pages (purchase at Borders for about $3.00—is 5 ¾” by 4 ¾”. In all these books, the pages are blank.
They have a lot of pages, but don’t feel like you have to fill them up. Your recipient can add more pictures or use it as a journal. All of the books can be used horizontally or vertically. Now you can figure out what size photos you want before you print them.
Here’s how Kip and I are doing on our project so far:
I often feel obligated to watch over Philadelphia’s Mayor.
And then I have Lunch.
Under here is where the new Barnes Museum is being built.
I look like I belong here, don’t I?
