Anytime Soup, a Basic, Healthy, Old Time Recipe

anytime soup handwritten

Here is another soup from my Dad’s recipe archives, he collected these over the years and this one looked simple and good.  It is kind of neat too because it was written down by hand.  It’s not my Father’s writing but someone thought enough of it to give it to him, he liked it enough to keep it and pass it on to me.  So, since we are all friends, here it is for you.

Be well!

Hey if you use vegetable bouillon then it would be a vegetarian soup!

Spinach could be a good alternative to cabbage

I’ll be making this on Sunday! Thanks for sharing. Don’t forget a big loaf of crunchy bread for dipping…yum

I’m making it now. Actually I used it as a guide, since I don’t have all the ingredients…parsley, sage, rosemary, thyme and basil for the italian seasoning. Also I don’t have celery which I think must be crucial.
