Dragon, Naturally Speaking, A Simple Dictation Software, Review

If you are like me, too much typing becomes a pain in the neck. That is why I purchased Dragon naturally speaking from Amazon.com. I just installed this new software and am sitting here’s dictating this story as the first thing I’m doing with it. The mistakes that you might see in the story are my stammering from my amazement at how accurately it’s converting my voice to text. I don’t think many of us really like to type, so here is excellent solution to minimizing our need to type. The only drawback is that you need to speak clearly and learning how to do this takes time!

I installed the software less than an hour ago and I’m already dictating this story. As many of you know, I’m a Mac guy and as far as I can see the only drawback with this software is I have to run a PC. You can install it on a Windows partition on your Mac if you have one, but I installed it on the older PC that I have and it just works. And, as I dictate the accuracy of what appears in front of me is improving with each word I speak. This is the software you see advertised on television in recent days.

I tested it in Microsoft Word as well as Microsoft Outlook Express email software applications.  If you want to get a copy of this, feel free to click the link at the bottom of the page. I got my copy through Amazon.com and it was $49, it came with a headset and microphone so everything you need is in the box. I originally looked at it in my local Staples store but they wanted $100 for this software. So if typing becomes a pain in the neck for you, and you want a solution that will type accurately as you speak, this is your answer. I highly recommend it and I’ve only used it for this post so far! Amazing! Enjoy and be well!
