The day I took these pictures I asked several people where this was. There was a young lady sitting in front of it and I asked her if there was a plaque that told folks about it. She said, “she didn’t know what it was or why it was there, it’s a weird sculpture.”
I told here that I was looking for it because it is a piece of the World Trade Center recovered from the rubble after 911 and it was there as a memorial so we all remember that day, that loss and that we never forget we are one people. She had a profound demeanor change when I told her what she had been sitting in front of.
Without going into too much editorializing here, say a prayer, remember the losses, especially those who lost their lives in the World Trade Center and the wars afterwards trying to settle the score. And, be grateful that we are the United States of America, the greatest nation in the world because of our values and our unity. We all can and need to demonstrate love for our country and our fellows regardless of politics we are united!
