I was a latchkey kid. And I needed something to do after school. I just loved getting mail—so I would look through magazines seeking free things to be sent to me in the mail. This is how my family got the Britannica Encyclopedia set—I filled out the coupon for information and the next thing you know, The Britannica Man was knocking at our door.
After that, I tended to look for things that were not as expensive for my family—I would pursue boxes and cans of food products for free recipes. I even saved enough Kool Ade packages to get a free Kool Ade Man Plastic Pitcher and set of cups. I ordered free recipe books and booklets—from Hershey’s Chocolate and Jell-O to Quaker Oatmeal and Kraft Cream-Cheese. I saved all those recipe books and booklets. But it’s been a long time since I’ve made Jell-O.
The reason I tell you this story is that I still love mail. Especially if it is something I can browse thru in bed, seeing all the wonderful things a person could purchase if only they had the money. And realizing most of the time, that I have everything I need. This is the very reason for sharing with you a list I made today. Catalogues. And all FREE to be MAILED to you.
I also made the list easy. The website of the vendor itself will not come up. What comes up is the order form. Enter your name and address after you click on the site—and there you go. Free Mail.
